SMS Consent

This public page explains exactly how customers may choose to receive transactional text messages from the William Geek Design Request Updates program.

Program status: SMS sending is currently under development. No SMS messages are currently being sent. The flow below describes how the program will operate after campaign approval and launch.

How opt-in works

    Verify an email address

    A customer starts a design request and verifies their email with a one-time code.

  2. 02

    Provide a phone number by choice

    A phone number is optional. If one is provided, the customer requests and enters a phone verification code.

  3. 03

    Separately choose SMS updates

    The customer may select the unchecked consent box shown below. Phone verification alone does not provide consent for later status messages.

What customers receive

Verification example

William Geek Design: Your phone verification code is [123456]. It expires in 10 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for support.

Status update example

William Geek Design: Request [WGD-20260724-ABCD] is now [in discussion]. [We are reviewing your requirements.] Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for support.

Customer choice and privacy

Consent to order-status SMS is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Customers may submit a design request without a phone number or without opting in to status messages.

We do not send marketing or promotional SMS. Phone verification messages are sent only when requested, and request-status SMS is sent only after the separate optional consent box is selected.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We also do not rent or transfer this information for those purposes. This information is used only to send requested verification messages and, where separately opted in, transactional request-status updates.
